Codeavour 5.0 participation fees is $25 USD (equivalent to 2000 INR for India) for participants and 300 AED (Registrations + Value Add Services) for UAE participants. Scholarships are available for underrepresented students; contact codeavour@thestempedia.com orare an authorized partner for details.

Guidelines

  • You can participate in anyone of the following 3 age groups:

Elementary

(7 - 10yrs Old)

  • You can participate as an individual or in a team of two to three students along with one mentor.
  • Only one project can be submitted per team. If you want to submit multiple projects, you must do another registration.
  • The project should be based on any one of the following themes. If you have multiple projects, pick a theme for each.
    1. Save the Environment
    2. Strengthen the Health Infrastructure
    3. Revolutionize the Agriculture
    4. Automate the Surroundings
    5. Educate the World
  • The project should be programmed using PictoBlox only.
  • In the case of hardware-based projects, only the hardware which is compatible with PictoBlox is allowed i.e. Quarky, evive, micro:bit, Arduino, ESP32, Boffin, T-Watch, TECbits and LEGO etc.
  • PictoBlox based projects where no hardware is used are also allowed to participate, compete and win.

FAQ's for Track One

Track 1 (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) is designed as a transformative event where participants use cutting-edge technologies like PictoBlox to create and realize entrepreneurial visions. Competitors focus on specific themes in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) to develop real-world solutions addressing actual problems through technology and innovation. This International Fest emphasizes inspiring ideas and impactful creations, aiming to effect real change.

The project should be based on any one of the following themes.

  1. Save the Environment
  2. Strengthen the Health Infrastructure
  3. Revolutionize the Agriculture
  4. Automate the Surroundings
  5. Educate the World

The project should be programmed using PictoBlox only.

In the case of hardware-based projects, only the hardware that is compatible with PictoBlox is allowed i.e. Quarky, Evive, micro: bit, Arduino, ESP32, Boffin, T-Watch, TECbits LEGO, etc.

PictoBlox-based projects without hardware are also allowed to participate, compete, and win

After registration, you can change your team member(s) in Track 1. Once the registration process is completed, you can change your team composition from the dashboard (edit profile button). After regionals, you can not change your team members.

After completing your registration and payment successfully, you can access the submission section from your dashboard on http://167.172.120.155/ to submit your projects.

One registration qualifies for one project submission only, for submitting more than one project, the team or an individual has to register again.

The rules for evaluating the project will be disclosed soon.

You can choose among the hardware that is compatible with PictoBlox like Quarky, Evive, Micro: Bit, Arduino, ESP32, Twatch, Boffin, Makey Makey, and Lego.

Yes, there will be AI, ML, AR-VR, Coding, and Robotics Training as well as doubt-solving sessions which will help you learn the fundamentals of AI, Coding, and Robotics, using PictoBlox, and making your project without any difficulty.

Every team has to make the business PPT for Track 1

The ppt has to be a minimum of 6 slides and a maximum of 10 slides.

The slides should cover

  1. Problem Statement
  2. Ideation
  3. Solution
  4. Existing Competition
  5. USP
  6. Innovation photos and videos

You can not change your project after regionals. However, you can still add minor updates and refinements to your project. This ensures continuity and fairness in the competition.
