This innovative AI and ML project is designed to educate and assist users in sustainable gardening practices. Mikhayla’s science project, which brilliantly blends traditional knowledge with cutting-edge technology, earned her the Out of the Box Innovator Award at Codeavour 5.0.

Mikhayla Leandra’s project, PLANTICON, addresses a pressing issue in Indonesia: the challenge of food security amid increasing urbanization and environmental concerns. The ML and AI project provides users with essential tools for effective plant cultivation, including advanced features like disease detection, optimal planting strategies, and care tips for various plant species. Additionally, PLANTICON offers features such as leaf color detection and planting guidance to empower individuals to cultivate their own gardens. 

By making gardening more accessible and scientifically informed, Mikhayla’s science project aims to bolster local food production and promote self-sufficiency, fostering a stronger connection between people and their natural environment.
